Farmer Kalah
March 28, 2011Yes, that’s right. I’ve decided to start a garden. I plant my crops tomorrow! This is an experiment that can, and probably will, go wrong. BUT, I think it will be fun to try. So…I’m going to post lots of pictures and updates. I’d love tips and any stories you might have that can help me. Here’s what Henderson Farms is going to be growing this year:
zucchini
squash
okra
broccoli
onions.
I picked veggies that I like and my family doesn’t usually buy, that way I don’t have to use my own money to buy it. š Clever, I know. Anyways.. that’s all for today. Short and sweet. We’ll see how it goes.
You forgot asparagus. They don’t buy that either and you love it.
Well, what do you know? Your stupid Mimi finally figured it out!!!!!
Thats awesome! I wish I had a garden of my own! They are really great, but also lots of work and can be hard to keep up with. How big is yours?

I’m working on getting pictures. That’s why I havent posted because I cant figure out how to get these pictures! I have three rows of onions, a few broccoli plants, 8 asparagus plants, some spring mix lettuce, and a few okra plants. š I also am about to plant zucchini and squash in May. They’ve already sprouted so much!
