dress clothes and drums.

I was so excited to sleep in this morning, but NO! We woke up to the thousands of stray dogs barking, as always. Anyways, today was our day to dress up and meet the vice mayor of Salvador and have our drum lessons. It was so much fun. We danced and sang for a long time.  It was really fun. After that, we walked around and it was realllllly hot. We went to this buffet for lunch..awesome. I think our meals get better every day. Later, we met up with the vice mayor of Salvador.  He was so cool. He told us all kinds of things about Brazil’s government and let us ask questions. The thing he said that stuck out the most to me was how he said that the different branches of the government in Brazil work together in harmony. I remember discussing this in class, but it was cool to hear him explain it with a new perspective. Later that night, we went to a ballet. I thought it was going to be really stupid, but it was so interesting and fun to watch. I loved it! Even though I couldn’t understand what was being said. Haha. Anyways, lots of pictures are coming. I just can’t upload them right this second.  Goodnight everyone!
